Its a lovely place to live in the beautiful neighborhood of Ranchlands. The units are definitely older (1970s?), many with a wood burning fireplace, and so warm in the Calgary winters because of the insulation in the walls! The summers are great because (location) we have access to the whole network of walking paths in Ranchlands, and a pool also! The management is also very active, all we had to do was give Irene a call and Fred would turn up! (Fred and Irene are great btw). Regular pest control, a sturdy, a well built, spa... read more
Working old school fireplace! Trees coming into balcony and towering even over 3rd floor! Connecting to walking paths at the back which leads to pockets of wooded areas! Kind and reasonable management! The best apartment complex. We have so many memories. Where else will you get trees towering over you even when you are on 3rd floor and trees coming into your balcony. Walking path at the back is used by children a lot so even winters will be eventful. My daughter and I have been living here since 2021. We love our well laid out apartment with a covered balcony, an abundance of storage and a wood burning fireplace, it’s more than a apartment, it’s our home. With the added convenience of having transit steps away and with easy access to U of C, our home is perfect. Raintree Village is fantastic Apartment Complex run efficiently by a super fantastic Property Manager *Irene* and her team that truly makes Apartment living stress free.
My experience at Raintree Village was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my concerns with others. The landlord at this property is unprofessional and unhelpful, consistently failing to adhere to the guidelines set out in the Residential Tenancy Act. It’s clear that the landlord lacks knowledge of the policies and rights outlined in the Act, which leads to ongoing issues for tenants.
