My daughter and I have been living here since 2021. We love our well laid out apartment with a covered balcony, an abundance of storage and a wood burning fireplace, it’s more than a apartment, it’s our home. With the added convenience of having transit steps away and with easy access to U of C, our home is perfect. Raintree Village is fantastic Apartment Complex run efficiently by a super fantastic Property Manager *Irene* and her team that truly makes Apartment living stress free.
My experience at Raintree Village was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my concerns with others. The landlord at this property is unprofessional and unhelpful, consistently failing to adhere to the guidelines set out in the Residential Tenancy Act. It’s clear that the landlord lacks knowledge of the policies and rights outlined in the Act, which leads to ongoing issues for tenants. Horrible, Irene is completely unprofessional and unfair. Had carpet from the 70s,
1. they have infestations of bed bugs 2. if Irene dont like you your asked to leave 3 even though u pay your rent on time every month your lease won't be renewed for no reason which unfortunately is legal 4. they will not even offer you a rental increase before they ask you to leave even though you've caused no trouble 5. Marijuana smoking on balconies is common 6. This is a great place to live and call home. And the location is perfect as well. Schools are nearby and shopping centers and restaurants just a stones throw. From my point of view while I was there, It was great to see what a safe and welcoming community Raintree Village is. Thanks to Irene and the rest of the Management.
