Rainforest cafe.... When someone calls in and says you don't need reservations.... Train you folks to tell the entire story. Nothing worse than showing up an hour later to over an hour wait. We would have changed our plans. Feeding 6 year olds at 9:00 after a long day in the sun is not what we wanted. Oh, and the manager could care less that we were not told of the reservation policy. I worked in hospitality for many years. I know this is not the way to treat customers.
Horrible! We waited over an hour for our food and come of the food was cold!! I talked to manger and he said oh well sorry!! That was it! Well sorry we won't be back EVER, and I will make sure no one else every does either!! Sorry service, and waited two long after we was already sitting at the table!!
Overly priced microwaved fast food. My children didn't even eat their food. All food was sent back. Manager no help. Will never ever go there again

It was my first time in Galveston also eating at the Rainforest Cafe. We went on Friday night on July 4th weekend and we didnt have a long wait the food was awesome. And what can I say abt the atmosphere other than AMAZING. I would definitely eat here again matter of fact I cant wait to go again. From first timer from Louisiana.
SO, 1ST TIME GOING WAS SUNDAY NIGHT AND WE SAT OUTSIDE. WEATHER WAS GREAT WASN'T TOO HOT, WE GOT KIDS MEALS WHICH WERE GOOD. WE DID RIDE AND WAS AWESOME. WE WALKED AROUND AND MY DAUGHTER GOT TO DANCE AND PLAY WITH OTHER KIDS. THE VOLCANO THAT ERUPT WAS AWESOME TOO AND PRETTY AND STAFF WAS VERY NICE LETTING MY DAUGHTER PLAY WITH STUFF LIZARD TOO

The wait time is a bit much, but I understand it's for the experience. The atmosphere is a little loud so my husband and I couldn't hear each other talking. Finally, we are Vegans and we ordered the flatbread with no cheese or pepperoni, but they still charged us the full amount. Our waiter was kind, though.
We come in for lunch with girl scout troop only waited about 15 minutes for table..Waitress wasnt very good but girls loved it...
