Great Company, you should go there!!
Rainbow Optics West 18th Ave. Second time, within two weeks, went into this store for adjustment to glass frame. Both times the adjustment was not done correctly, loose, glasses coming off face, Second adjustment, causing ear pain.nose pieces not aligned. Comments of staff not helpful example: Let's not do to much,"adjustment" today, and "Where did you get your frames"?
Optician inexperienced The Optician that tried to help me was not aware of new products now available for a person with a complicated prescription like mine. The lenses my ophthalmologist recommended she had never heard of, nor had the in-house lab guys. She was not very well versed in the technical aspects of progressive lenses either. The prices were on the higher end of the local scale also. So unless you just need simple lenses I wouldn't recommend this optical shop. Very impersonal. This was not a great experience for me. I went in to get my eyes checked and the first thing that happened was the long wait. When I finally got in I felt rushed and that it was an imposition to ask questions. I was asked to come back later for a different test because they were busy. I felt like I had an appointment too and should be just as important. I have not been back.
Rainbow Optics With locations in the University district, on West 11th and by Sheldon High School, you will find many or most people in Eugene know Rainbow Optics for a great selection of eye-wear products and good service. The University branch shares space with their Sun & Sports division. Lots of choices for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts, along with some of their edgier frames. Selection and Service! I went to Rainbow Optics for the first time last week. I really liked the selection and the help I got from the very friendly staff there. It was a very easy and comfortable experience and I got a great pair of glasses that were easy on the pocketbook. I would recommend them to anyone.
