About 8 years ago, my brother spent his last 19 days in the Ark. The folks who took care of him were fabulous. They were absolute angels. I work in health care and know how emotionally draining it can be. I will forever be grateful to Rainbow for helping my brother transition with love and exceptional care.
When you have any patient that is not being cared for in their home of nursing home REFUSE to go into the in patient treatment center(ARK) Now at 7435 talcott presence hospital. There is a supreme court ruling that took place in 1997 that permits the use of terminal sedation but only after the patients apin is not controlled by other means. I had a horrible recent experience with this place. Despite knowing our critical family situation, Rainbow Hospice Ark gave us a very hard time during the entire process from start to finish. The information we were given before enrolling our family member was completely contradictory to what the staff nurses said after being enrolled.
