Dr. Mehan is extremely knowledgeable and personable. The HIFU procedure he performed went as planned without complication. I can't believe being cancer free could be so easy! His support staff were excellent, scheduling was easy, and follow-up was quick. Overall, a very good experience compared to my previous urologists and oncologist who just wanted surgery.

Excellent experience. Dr. Mehan is friendly, informative and thorough. He is like a breath of fresh air compared to my last urologist. who was treating me for prostate cancer. Thanks to Dr. Mehan I found that there was no cancer at all. He really seems to care about the welfare of his patients, unlike many other doctors who see you simply as a number. He has my highest recommendation, I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

Dr Mehan definitely knows his stuff. He successfully treated my father's prostrate problem, much to my father's relief. Prostrate cancer was found but not treated with alarm or worry. One step at a time, treatment options and possibilities were discussed thoroughly. I was diagnosed with kidney stones. After seeing another urologist, who made my problems worse, I came to Dr. Mehan. He explained how he was going to treat me and answered all my questions. He took the time to talk to me and m

as a healthcare worker, and having assisted with dozens of vasectomies with multiple providers across the valley for the past 10 years, I can tell you I was more than a little anxious to have this procedure done myself- It never looked comfortable. A friend recommended Dr. Mehan, and he sold me on a needle-free, single incision procedure with little to no pain... I was skeptical. Well, it was fantastic. It was everything he said it would be. I've already recommended him to all my friends.

Left STRANDED, in the hospital on multiple occasions, by my OLD Urology staff , and by nothing short of a Miracle- found Dr. Mehan and his AMAZING group. Because of previous cancer I have one kidney, and an Indiana pouch, for my new bladder. As a result of this and my new anatomy, I obviously need specialized care. A true answer to MANY prayers, from MANY people- we found Dr. Mehan. I have never felt such compassion and knowledge from a Physician and his staff, EVER. From start to finish- ????

1st appt. Aug. 28, 2017, discussed options, settled for surgery on Nov. 7th. Got last minute call changing time, date & HOSPITAL due to Dr's family function on 7th. I said no. It took weeks to reschedule for Dec. 20 surgery. Dec 19th I went to Banner Baywood for pre-op. Coughing & sick, nurse suggested I physically go to Dr's office for opinion on next day surgery. Office left decision up to me. I cancelled due to sickness. Feb.1, 2018,still waiting. HE'S good but it takes patience. Office : (

We moved back to Arizona 8 months ago, and Dr Mehan was one of the first doctors we enlisted for my 89-yr old mother who has a history of chronic UTIs. We’ve had several appts, but only saw Dr Mehan once — we generally have to see his PA in order to get a timely appt. She has been battling her current UTI for nearly TWO months now, and the PA has done next to nothing about it. And I can’t get to a human being in their office by phone. I leave messages, but they are never returned. We’re done
