When this place first opened the food was good if a bit overpriced. The quality of food and service has steadily declined since then. The last time we went there I ordered the jambalaya (finally on the menu). It was clearly several days old and gave me food poisoning. The server wanted to rush us through our dinner and get us out of there. Never again. If this place closes, I wouldn't be upset. Expensive prices for bad food and terrible drinks. Nah.
Went today 6-30-26 and closed with note on door for lease. Another Sweet Deals promotion that closed before coupon(exp 02/28) could be redeemed!! 👎
I ordered the catfish platter. The fries were not cooked, very pale in color. The fish was not nearly fully cooked. The fish was swimming in pools of grease. The batter was very light and extremely soggy due to the large amount of grease. I didn’t even eat a single bite. The host was very nice, he apologized, said not to worry about it and I could head and that he would yell at the kitchen.
Ordered the catfish plate. Fish was not cooked, fries not fully cooked, and everything served in a pool if grease.
