Business response:
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Peter. It's so great to hear that you feel supported by Dr. Gray and your care with us here at Kaiser Permanente NW. - KPNW
I’m shocked to see negative reviews here. (Although one is for a naturopath, so that’s not even him.) Dr. Gray is incredibly knowledgeable about medications and about non-pharmaceutical treatments. He explains things very thoroughly and allows me as a patient to participate in my own treatment plan. He has also been thorough about running tests to make sure potential non-psychiatric issues (vitamin deficiencies, thyroid levels, etc.) weren’t causing problems before just prescribing psychiatric meds. He is more cerebral than ... read more
Seeing all the negative reviews for this provider are mind-boggling. Dr. Gray was incredibly comprehensive. He delved really deep into WHY I was having the issues I was, went through my labs with a fine tooth comb and on top of making sure I wasn't using a potentially addictive (addict parent) ADHD medication he referred me for additional tests to cure some of the co-occurring issues that could be aiding in my symptoms and ailments. I really appreciated the amount of time and effort he put into my care. Very comprehensive. I... read more
Dr. Gray is the most condescending, insensitive and incompetent doctor I’ve ever had. I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 12 and stopped taking it when I was 21. I’m now 27 and I needed to get back on it to focus better and he literally prescribed a medication I never heard of. I repeatedly told him I wanted to stick with the same medication I took when I was younger because I knew it worked for ME. He refused to listen. I picked up the new medicine and had motor tics caused by what he prescribed me. I told him about the tics I... read more
My experience was terrible. Gray acted with a learned helplessness that made me feel that I was in the hands of a total incompetent. My partner is a Home Health Nurse who correctly diagnosed me with Serotonin Syndrome. Gray did not like being upstaged by a nurse so he torpedoed my treatment; prescribing Seroquel when it was radically inappropriate. The side effects alone would have crippled me. Lazy and convinced that he is a deity , Gray is dangerous.
I had to wait 3 months to see Dr. Gray. It was my first time seeing a naturopath. He rolled his eyes when I told him I’m plant based and don’t eat animals. I got no help. He ordered a ton of blood work that cost nearly $400!!!! Total waste of money and time.
