Very kind and knowledgeable doctor; he was my gastroenterologist for many years and he patiently helped me solved my stomach problems that no longer need treatment. I highly recommend him.
I was treated by Dr Cuellar and spent quite a good amount of time under his care. I moved from the area and don't see him anymore, but it was really interesting reading the reviews from other patients and decided to write mine. Based on my experience, i can say that most of the reviews (good and not so good) are to some extend correct. I personally think he is a great doctor and was able to handle his actitud with no problem. I am so happy with Dr. Cuellar, he is compassionate and listens to my concerns. I have been seeing him for a couple of years, and have recommended him to so many people, especially when they get to the age when they need a colonoscopy. I feel very comfortable now at his office and with his staff. Couldn't recommend him more.
Very pleasant and helpful doctor. I was consuming a lot of healthy food and supplements and I felt I was doing good but had a lot of stomach problems. He made me see that I was overweight, eating too much and too late. I initially didn't like this, but I'm glad he told me the truth because when I changed my lifestyle I got better.
I'm not sure why the 2 previous bad reviews. My appointments with Dr. Cuellar have been prompt, I have found him a very caring physician who -for a change- was very interested in my health. I have a very complicated disease and have found many doctors not paying much attention to me. However, Dr. Cuellar and his staff did wonders for me. EXTREMELY CONDESCENDING If you are the type of patient that wants to understand your condition, and or have any medical knowledge, this Doctor does not want you. He does not want you to ask questions and teach you about your possible medical condition. HEaven help you if you rate medically knowledgeable as if does not like to to be questioned. Any of you that actually have a procedure done by this docter will change your reviews. Rafael is extremely caring in the office, which is deceiving. He likes to tell everyone it's in their mind and that's not true. I got a procedure done and he was extremely rude, uninformative and distant. He didn't seem like he cared at all which really made my spouse angry as I layed there in pain. I will never go back to him again and hope that no one ever has a procedure done by him again. Excellent physician. Truly cares about his patients.
Staff was very professional, helpful, compassionate. Dr. Cuellar is a little hard to understand, but knowledgeable in his field. He's easy to talk to about very personal matters, and seems to really care.
