If I could give 0 stars for her, I would. Last night I went to L&D at 35 weeks pregnant with our twins after being instructed to do so by my OBGYN due to preterm labor symptoms. Upon arrival around 7 p.m., I was 1 cm dilated and experiencing regular, increasingly intense contractions. After monitoring, IV fluids, and a dose of pain medication, I was rechecked and told I had progressed to between 2–3 cm. Given that, I was admitted overnight for continued monitoring. This Dr has the best bedside manner of any I have come across. She has made some really sensitive and painful procedures as pleasant as possible .
She has a poor attitude, zero compassion and a large ego. She's condescending and seems to take joy in making her patients feel dumb or small. This practice is great, aside from Dr. Kotsko.
Upon discharge from my delivery, Dr. Kotsko was not compassionate nor friendly for someone that just had a C-section. Her bedside manner was terrible. Also, based on the note she documented in Sentara my chart..she never physically examined me. She was more concerned about me wearing a mask while laying in a hospital bed then actual patient care.
