I had the most horrible experience with her. She was with me for maximum 15 minutes and gave me a diagnosis that didn’t make sense; especially since she wasn’t with me very long. When I questioned her conclusions she was short with me and told me to just use the medication. I tried it for two months with horrible side effects. I went to another dermatologist who was very thorough, took her time and explained a completely different diagnosis that made sense. She gave me no help at all. She acted like she barely wanted to examine my hair. She gave me two options. Use an ointment that might work or go see someone about PRP treatment which is hundreds of dollars per treatment. Like the reviews say she denies you for prescriptions and she rushes you during your appointment. She does not care about her patients seemingly I am not sure why she is even a doctor I don’t know why she’s in this profession, but she definitely is no help. Very nice doctor!
I usually do not write reviews but given the spectrum of reviews on google on Dr Gathers I wanted to share my experience. Before going in for my appointment I did look her up on here and the reviews did give me a pause. However, I kept my appointment and I am so glad I did. Dr Gathers was with me for no more than 8 minutes, but I did not feel shortchanged in any way.
