READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING! The accommodations were nice, and the staff was pleasant—but the experience overall was disappointing due to lack of transparency. Nowhere during booking did it mention that the entire property is under construction: balconies closed, bars and pool inaccessible, and even limited beach access. After driving three hours, we arrived only to be told our balcony—one of the main reasons we booked a corner suite—was completely unusable. We booked online and we got there and the balconies were closed and pool also
Rooms are need to be updated. Very bad condition. Not worth the price. The hotel employees are really nice. Just the rooms. Not clean and sosnt looks good at all.
BEWARE! Choice seems to hide the fact the property's balconies are condemned and not accessible. Pool is closed until at least August when balconies should be renovated. This was no where written for us to know at time of booking! To top it off, there is no beach access from the hotel now, you must walk next to the building to public access where a homeless camp of at least 8 homeless men are laying/passed out on the walkway/boardwalk entrance from morning to night with their drug paraphernalia on the benches. The hotel looks old. The room was dirty and the bathroom sink was broken! Won’t come back! The only good thing is the view!
