Stayed over Memorial Weekend. Chose this hotel since they said they had a shuttle service to the convention center. Turns out that was only during the week. Also, there was no blow dryer, coffee maker, alarm clock or ironing board.
This was a pleasant experience. I would recommend to go here if you are budget conscious and looking for a good value.
Found out 30 days after my stay that they charged my credit card $150 for a smoking fee. Aside from the fact that I do not smoke - the smell in the rooms is so strong with their air freshner takes the breath right out of an asthma sufferer like me. Talking to their so called management - the man could not tell who owned the hotel or who he worked for. I'm a club carlson memeber and got a room here on points recently. Rooms was clean, staff friendly, excellent buffet (included). The rooftop pool area needs an update and the towels provided reminded me of cleaning rags, but otherwise, I was happy.
