The location is close to downtown and convenient for work. The rooms and service need a bit of work. I requested a room on the first floor for mobility. I got to my room and it was filthy. Clearly just painted as the smells were a bit overwhelming. I then slept terribly with an HVAC system behind the headboard that turned on every 20 minutes and shook the headboard and made reverberations throughout the room. This hotel looks nice at first glance, but there was some kind of unbelievably loud vibration/hum going off in the walls/vicinity of my room every five minutes for about 10 seconds, throughout the entire night. It was not the heating/cooling system, as I turned it off and continued to deal with the noise. Even with earplugs, it was impossible to sleep through. Great hotel run by Marriott. The staff were very friendly and check in/out was very easy without any hassle. The rooms are extremely clean and modern. The best part of this hotel was the fully stocked bar with its outstanding bartenders. The prices were very in line with other places in Helena. Good fitness center.
Stayed here for a convention. Only convention space in town.
Don't stay at this hotel. There are much better ones in Helena with nicer employees. The day I was supposed to arrive last weekend for a family reunion, this hotel called to tell me they would not honor a rez for 3 rooms. I made the reservation thru Marriott's website with a valid discount code. My family was coming for a family reunion. To be told the day of your arrival that the property wouldn't honor the rate was absolutely horrible. I even sent them an email from Marriott confirming the rate.
