Radio City Apartments – Very clean....Location, location, location!! I would stay here again, definitely. Only con is that the mattresses were not great.
Great Hotel – This is a great hotel for families and the budget traveler. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was very large for New York Style(actually much larger than the Sheraton that I stayed at last time). The elevator is slow but for the price you can't complain. The staff were very nice. For the price, I would recommend staying again. If you are accustomed to the Marriot or the Sheraton you maybe a little disappointed. I will stay there again.
Very Clean & Great Location – The cordial staff, was always ready to give you directions, for eateries & transportation. In the early evening the fire doors where noisy but that subsided before midnight. The A/C worked great but was noisy, so I shut it down before I slept, that was the first week in June. The beds were rock hard, that was the only backdraw to our stay. The rooms were clean, no pests. Being close to all the trains and near PAX for breakfast made it an enjoyable stay.
Will stay here again – I did not know what to expect after reading the reviews but I was more than pleased with this hotel. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. Contrary to reviews the front desk staff could not have been any kinder from the minute we walked in the door until even after we checked out. My only complaint is the fact that the elevator is so sloooow! One night we were there the boiler broke and there was no heat or hot water but I will stay there again. They apologized for the boiler, which was not their... read more
In the Heart of NYC – I have stayed at Radio City over 5 times now. It literally can not be beat for value considering location and quality and size of the room (check out the 2 bedroom it's great!!) The elevators are a little scary and the front desk people aren't the nicest.... but who cares... you have everything you need here. I recommend this place to everyone. Most hotels in NY you get a small single bed and that's it for probably double the money as a one bedroom apt. here!!
Everything you need and the kitchen sink. – The Scene Housed in a 75-year-old building, this Midtown hotel is bustling with bargain-minded tourists. The weathered, ornate interior adds character. The front desk employees are not the friendliest people in New York, but they do smile back if prompted. The Details The 100 rooms are decent and clean. Accommodations have all the basics, including cable TV and daily maid service. Suites come with kitchenettes, but if you don't feel like cooking, a restaurant and a deli are located... read more
big apple – Location, location, location. And size! I took the family including wife 2 teen agers and mother-in-law to see some shows in November 2002. The 5 of us were very comfortable with 2 queens and a fold out plus a kithenette. The place was clean, big and reasonable. Not your usual NY room. It is very convenient to the theater district. Several delies are within a block. The staff was not overly friendly but I was not looking for new pals. This place is a real bargain for the city. I will be back. My only complaint is... read more
Great Place – We were in New York Dec. 26th - the 30th of 2002 Radio City Apartments were great Great Location. Close to everything The people were all really nice and helpful to us Thanks for a great stay we will recommend it highly to all our Texas friends coming your way
NY's best kept secret! – We recently arrived from Scotland on our honeymoon and stayed at Radio City Apartments. We were very pleasantly surprised on our arrival as we expected a budget hotel for the money - the room we had was very spacious and clean and even had a well equipped kitchen (not that we ever cooked!). Its very central and close to a great diner and bar. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking of visiting New York and if we get the chance we will definitely stay there again.
