There are two nuclear reactors in Oregon, one in Portland and the other one in Corvallis. Oregon State University offers tours to see their TRIGA nuclear reactor, that is primarily used for teaching and research purposes. Erica, the receptionist, was super friendly and helpful to get us scheduled. Ray, our tour guide, is an ungrad in their program, was engaging, funny and so knowledgeable.
