Many thanks to Steve Kelly for a tour of the facility. It is truly an amazing place! If I have a need in the future, I would be very comfortable staying here. I strongly recommend that all local Veterans take time to visit. Sadly, state funding has been cut to the point they struggle to maintain adequate staff. Currently, they are limited to about 25% of capacity, which means there is a huge waiting list of qualified candidates...who can't be admitted! My wife's mother (Mary a.k.a. Midge) was number 3 admitted to this facility. I don't think you can find any better care or caregivers. You can't understand how exceptional this facility is until you visit it.
My father was patient number 17 in this outstanding facility. He is happy and well cared for, we are ecstatic with his progress and could not imagine him anywhere else.
