We had a terrific time. The Beef Cheek was pretty good, but the Crab Salad was outstanding in its salty goodness. The Oysters were right. The Malbec too. Excellent service. Often we sit on our phones when we go out, but not here- this a place to enjoy, although the room itself and the seats, are a little tight. We'll go back.
Our first trip to Radar was great! We loved the open kitchen and sat at the bar to see the prep. I ended up taking a photo of the chefs that the host really liked so she asked me to email it to her. Lo and behold, come to find out that the hostess was also the owner, Lily! She was great by the way - very warm and talkative with a big smile! We will definitely come back.
Absolutely fabulous meal! Very quaint venue. This husband/wife team, greats you and cooks for you. Staff was very warm and accommodating. Food had a wonderful presentation. I highly recommend this restaura,t and look forward to visiting Radar on my next trip back to Portland.
The steak and eggs was awesome. The Bloody Mary, the large, was 5 sips from my straw and gone. The flavor was great but I would have liked more for $9
