I would give her zero stars if I could. I met her today while she was on call for my current OBGYN. When I mentioned I wanted another child and asked about how I could prepare my body for a healthy pregnancy at 42 she told me that I would more than likely have a baby with Down’s Syndrome and that it would ruin my family. Those were her exact words. She kept repeating that any baby I had at my age would have a chromosomal abnormality. When I mentioned I got pregnant with my daughter at 40, she said I just got “lucky” that tim... read more
Terrible bedside manner and shamed and criticized me for crying from the pain and told me it was because i wouldn’t stop clenching as instructed. Worst experience I’ve ever had at 46 yrs of age.
Rude and bedside manners could be improved by a lot. Wasted my time driving an hour to an office that really did nothing.
She assisted with my wife’s c-section and she made some very rude comments very loudly for all to hear about my wife. I could hear her all the way out in the hall where I was waiting while they were giving my wife a spinal tap. She didn’t say one word to me or my wife the whole time. Her work was fine, my wife and daughter are perfect, but her bedside manner was horrendous and we will not allow her to assist on any future pregnancies.
Waited in the waiting room for an hour, the triage room for 15 minutes, and the exam room for 20 minutes. When I finally met the doctor an hour and 20 minutes after my appointment time, I asked if I could expect this wait time every time. The doctor was extremely rude and basically kicked me out at that point.
I have a severe hearing loss and had a hard time understanding parts of our conversation. Dr Petersen, bless her heart, was so patient with me as she explained again facts I needed to know. It’s obvious that she really cares about her patients and she knows her stuff.
I would be very cautious about sending any working moms or anybody that has a job here. I think Dr Petersen is a great doctor she sits and listens to all your concerns and doesn't make you feel dumb. But the time you have to wait in the waiting room and then again when you get back in to a room is ridiculous. I waited over an hour on multiple occasions to see her and had to reschedule two apts because I had to go back to work. So if you don't have a job or a busy schedule she is great!
Not very friendly. Terrible bedside manner. Rushes during visits and check ups after birth.
I had my first visit last year. I waited forever to be seen. The exam was not thorough and my questions were not answered. After a phone call 10 minutes before my appointment I was told I had to reschedule. No appointments till April. I am having issues and needdd to be seen. I hung up and immediately found another Dr. I don’t recommend her.
