I went with my husband to his appointment and we saw em this Dr instead of his PCP who was out. My husband knows his own body and thought he had pneumonia. He stated this and the Doctor EVENTUALLY gave him an exam very Reluctantly. After briefly listening to his lungs she said "you don't have pneumonia you have a virus" right before this she entered the room and without really knowing us told my husband " your oxygen level is pretty low...you need to go to the ED. I was a patient of Dr. Hursey for approximately a year, after being transferred to her care when my primary doctor left the practice. I had been with the practice for more than 7 years at that time. Her care was disinterested at best. She refused to order a blood test that I requested, though we were already doing other blood tests and it would not have changed the order.
