Rachel was great my first visit with her and was very supportive with some medical issues I was having. For the next year everything went well too. I went into my appointment today with Mrs. Ohlmacher and I spoke to the initial nurse when I arrived, stating I needed refills of my 3 standard prescriptions and asked to be evaluated for ADHD. That nurse left. Upon arriving in the room, Ohlmacher, in her normal polite tone, introduced her Nurse Practitioner in training and that the individual in training would complete my initial intake. My wife called me sobbing after an appointment with Rachel today. Bedside manner is incredibly important when it comes to medical care, and Rachel needs training in this area along with actually listening to and acting on her patients’ medical concerns. If you’re not there to listen to and help your patients, what are you there for? I truly hope this practice looks into Rachel’s interactions and addresses her performance issues and provides her with training to be a decent human. She should be ashamed.
