Dr Lock is a very thoughtful, thorough, professional and caring professional. She listens to all my questions and takes time to answer all my concerns.
I've been a patient of Dr. Lock for several years. In that time, she has helped me navigate several health issues. She listens to me and considers my input when formulating a care plan. I am followed by providers outside the Sentara network, and she has done a very good job coordinating the care as my PCP. When I first became her patient, I was not as satisfied with her office team, but in recent years, I have found her staff to be competent, friendly and responsive to my messages.
Always a great experiance with Dr. Rachel Lock. She provides her full attention and helps get to solutions that my VA provider might not have been able to provide. Very accommodating when my schedule has to be change. Very glad I have her as a PCM for myself.
ZERO STARS She dropped me as a patient because she said I don’t trust her. I don’t trust blindly is what she should say. This doc doesn’t like questions from patients or patients to participate in their own health decisions. She just makes six month follow ups for no reason for the insurance money since one visit doesn’t bring in enough. I asked her about vitamin d for my autoimmune condition and she has been hyper focused on me not taking too much vitamin d on my own yet she will not discuss any vitamins or anything about h... read more
