I had a horrible experience with her. She doesn’t take you seriously and acted like my pain didn’t matter. I try to be incredibly kind to doctors and it was not reciprocated.
Today I saw Dr. Anderson for a family planning visit as my husband and I are hoping to have a baby soon. She was brash, unkind, and lacked tact. She repeatedly said to “drink lots of wine” before sex to help me “loosen up if I’m nervous.” She ended the appointment by saying “lose more weight and you’ll get pregnant,” despite knowing my history of eating disorders. Dr. Anderson was extremely caring and compassionate. I admired her bedside manner.
