On January 4, 2012, Rachael's Cafe opened its doors with the vision of providing customers with quality Cajun & Creole cuisine with friendly service. We are a family-run business with a passion for sharing a cultural experience through food. A lot has happened since our humble beginning. We expanded and doubled our space in 2017. This allowed us to create a larger dining space for our customers and to extend our offerings.

They have the best chicken fried steak. I just had the shrimp stew and it was absolutely great!!

Had the seafood platter and split a cup of seafood gumbo. Best stuffed shrimp and stuffed crab I have had in a long time. Seafood gumbo was full of shrimp and crab and was delicious. Highly recommend!

These people serve REAL, wholesome, simple, and healthy food, the way food should be, and at decent prices. I would make no recommendation for any improvements based on my experience dining in this establishment. It is so hard to find an affordable Paleo friendly restaurant, and these people have outdone themselves, as I have now found my favorite restaurant for any time I should have to go to Lafayette.
