The food was good but overpriced. Great service might make up for that, but that did not happen here. It was not terrible, but it’s the mark of an unprofessional and uncaring server who hands the credit card back to the man when the name is clearly female, and she was obviously leading charge on the sushi selections. Someone should give Daniel a clue.
The quality of product doesn’t justify the price. There are FAR better places to get a great product and not pay almost $14.00 for 5 rolls. The server and her attentiveness to detail is the other star. If you want a great spread of sushi, do you homework and look around. Ra is like the Olive Garden of sushi.

This was my first time there. We went for my daughter’s 20th birthday. After all the hype I heard about it, I was excited to try it. Eh, the food was ok. I ordered the sashimi salad. It was fine but not great. I think the sashimi salad at Osaka is way better. What made the whole night amazing was our server, Daniel. He was kind, funny, very courteous and attentive. When I went to this place the other day I was very disappointed I ordered a California roll, and a eel cucumber roll to go.... both rolls were about the size of a nickel!? There's no way I'll go here again... When you can get bigger, (meaning average size or bigger) great quality sushi for your money inside of AJ's!!!
This was a fantastic experience, it excites all of the senses, from the staff,the set up, & most definitely the food!
