Gave me an estimate of 14-15k for a build ended up paying over 36k and got an engine that had such extreme blow by it blew the cam plug out of the back of the block on the first pass. Tried contacting Ron for a week with no response then i get a text that he never had the budget to build the way he needed (17,000.00 just in labor) and it was on me, and he understands if I want to find a new engine builder. We have been using R&W at three shops I've been a service manager. From daily driver cars, to full out race cars they have been able to keep things going running. They are also excellent at making innovative solutions to get the job done. They are very good at the European work whether it is a Porsche, BMW, Audi, Lotus or Ferrari I've seen them handle everything we ever thrown at them.
Only thing better than R and W machine work and Ron seniors engine building wisdom ,albeit sarcastic is .... Stopping for a bite to eat and maybe a beer a couple miles down the road at the 4 dogs tavern . Ron and Ron keep us in or near the winners circle , and 4 dogs has great food
Very reputable shop that has done excellent work for myself and friends. I've had multiple 4g63 cylinder heads rebuilt here and they always comes out great.
