My experiences with Dr. McKay before, during and after my rotator cuff surgery has been exceptional. He never rushes through an appt., he answers all questions thoroughly and makes ceretain you understand pros and possible cons of the surgery. He is compassionate and caring and makes a patient feel very comfortable in an otherwise tense situation. He and his team are very capable and caring.
Very complete and clearly explained description of cause of shoulder pain along with treatment options and possible outcomes. Dr. McKay was very professional and a pleasure to meet and talk with.
I was given an emergency appointment and in surgery the next day. Dr Mc Kay explained the procedure that would be done. He showed me my X-ray to help me understand. It was a very bad shoulder break. To the disappointment of both of us, the surgery failed. Due to my age, my bones were too weak to hold the screws. Dr Mc Kay presented other options.
