Dr Hockenberry was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained (in terms I could understand) the conditions I experience in my foot as well as the options available to me. He was pleasant and friendly. I will not hesitate to recommend him.
I saw Dr Hockenbury on 8-11-25 for my initial evaluation for a total ankle replacement. He impressed me very much and I am hard to impress with our current medical care (especially in my area of W KY). He was clear and informative about the entire surgery, pre-op and post-op. The doctor was very thorough in his assessment of my conditions in both feet and provided ways in which to treat them. He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions patiently. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Hockenbury was courteous and proactive regarding my recovery.
Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr Hockenbury is very knowledgeable and took time to explain the procedures needed to enable me to walk without pain. Surgeries were both successful and I felt like I wasn’t rushed. Been waiting for 50 years to walk with pain.

I can’t honestly say. I never saw Dr. Hockenbury. I didn’t go past his rude and unprofessional front office staff. They sure did not instill confidence. Waited for over an hour for nothing.
I would highly recommend Dr. Hockenbury and his office. He is very professional, kind and took plenty time at my appointment and before surgery. His staff is wonderful and friendly. Have not had any issues with wait time, about 5-10 minutes, at most. Will definitely have him do corrective surgery on my other foot.
Dr. Hockenbury performed surgery on my daughter in 2018 while she was a college athlete. She recovered quickly during the off season and didn't miss a game. She is still doing well and has not needed any further treatments. He's an amazing surgeon.
