We have made multiple service calls to R T Moore, and each time the technicians have been on time, friendly, honest, and did excellent work. When our water heater failed, the technician came to our house, determined that it was indeed kaput, went back to his warehouse for a new one, and installed it, all in the same day! Another time the work took less time than the one hour minimum charge, so the technician asked if there were any other small plumbing repairs needing to be done to fill out the hour.

I would give negative stars if I could for the amount of time and energy these people wasted. A friend of mine also was quoted $1,300 to change a heating element on a small water heater, that's absolute robbery. You think you can charge $1,000 an hour for your service if you can't even show up on time? Which is even funnier since previous reviews say they speed around everywhere.

asked R. T. Moore to run a water line for the ice maker in the garage. Connected to water line of refrigerator in kitchen. Then put a 3/8" plastic valve in garage. Told me to go to Lowes and get a line 3/8"x 1/4". After 1 hour in Lowes found out there is no such water line. All ice maker lines are 1/4" x 1/4". Talked to manager next day and he stated they would not come out and put a 1/4" valve in. Plumbing company that does not know the size of water lines or come back out to make needed repairs is off my list. Very upset w... read more
