I have been going to r&s auto for over 25 years, after Rick and Steve sold thay have gotten more expensive, I call to day to get a price on a new starter, i was told it was a 3 hour job at $125.00 per hour plus the starter wich he didn't know how much it would be, i thought the labor cost was really high so I called the dealer to get a price wich I would never do is go to the dealership, thay told me it would be one hour labor plus the part its self, the way I'm looking at it now the dealer is saving me about $250.00 dollar ... read more
I came in for a routine car maintenance, and was charged $165, which was extremely surprising. The same service usually costs $80–$100, and I was not clearly informed in advance that the price would be this high. What makes it worse is that this is even more expensive than the dealership. I strongly recommend others to confirm the full price before agreeing to any service, otherwise you may face unexpected charges like I did. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back.
So bad!!! I brought my car here for basic maintenance, and the final bill almost $200. This was far higher than the other shop as similar services usually cost around $80–$100. There was no clear price breakdown or warning beforehand that the cost would be this high. In my experience, this pricing is even higher than what dealerships charge for the same service.
