It began with our house heating boiler being nonfunctional. Among contractors I spoke with, the McLagan's were most informative. They asked about our heating needs, which led to a pleasant educational discussion of new versus old heating technology and materials. The end result was a new boiler, hybrid water heater and a sealed attic with new insulation that keeps the house more evenly toasty. They did the heat pump conversion at our over century old house, including installing the duct work for it (and removed the furnace/radiator system and repaired the floors where the radiators had been). The work was great. They were very pleasant to work with and overcame every extra challenge this house threw at them. I highly recommend them.
A+++ Company - Best Customer Service and Attention to Detail. Expert R. McLagan installed our Halcyon heat pump system two years ago. Our home is consistently warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We are so fortunate to have contracted with this knowledgeable, professional company. Both Matt and Ron are a joy to work with and their expertise on green energy systems is invaluable.
Having been in and around the trades for over 35 years i can honestly and fully say Matt and his crew were great to work with. I interviewed 4 contractors ( 2 i realized i knew more than, 1 i didn't like his ideas, and then Matt) for my design and install and couldn't be happier with going with his company. Ron and Matt are two of the the most dishonest, unprofessional, unaccountable human beings on the face of this earth. They are schmoozers in the sale process and big scammers once a contract is signed. Response: No threats of any kind were made. Ron was angry and disrespectful and I told him to leave my house. When he refused multiple times I said I was calling the police at which point Matt told his dad to leave the house and stated that he agreed his dad was being disrespectful.
