The food and service here are excellent. It’s Mt Vernon’s comfort food central. The ham loaf, roast pork and dressing and homemade pies are top quality. I’ve never been let down by any of their selections. Breakfast is really good too.
Driving thru Mt. Vernon, I was parking at the Taco Bell and saw the Southside across the way. Glad I decided to eat at the Southside. Very friendly service. Comfy. Chipped Prime Rib sandwich was excellent.
This was my first time at this diner I was so impressed the staff was wonderful I love it the food was also great I do recommend going to this diner
