It was an unusual, down to earth, great food experience from beginning to end. It started with a fun conversation with Chef Devin (before the restaurant opened) and then I knew it was going to be an extra special evening. Chefs Devin and Raul entertained as well as crafted. It really isn't a restaurant in the conventional sense but truly going to someone's kitchen. More than just a great value, the creative dishes and casual atmosphere at the chef's counter made for an unforgettable experience.

We made reservations a month in advance and when we arrived, they claimed we were not on the reservation list. They then acted like it wasn't their fault because we did not get a confirmation text. They were very rude about it and then ended in saying they just didn't have room for us. Also, it smells like horse poop outside the restaurant 😖

The menu is made when you walk in all 3 chefs were super personable and fun to hang out with. It was like you were at their house hanging out and they were making you dinner. RecommendedThis is unlike any restaurant experience I’ve ever had. R Kitchen serves at 6 or 8pm and only up to 16 people at a time, so they are booked out! The same chef doesn’t work every day and they make up the menu after they’ve been to the market to get what is fresh/in season.
