Kicked off our morning with our heat pump going out on us. Outside unit sounded like it was running, but air mover wasn’t kicking on. Put in a call to R&J Ertel and were taken care of very promptly. We were able to have a tech come by to diagnose the unit in the attic. Thankfully it was a fairly easy fix of replacing a capacitor. Steve and his team have been gone above and beyond in helping us with the many nuances of an old home under renovation. From duct work, ac, and furnace issues, he and his team have been incredibly helpful and a solid resource for advice. Steve personally has been out to our home numerous times to trouble shoot and help find a solution without just trying to sell us a product. I can’t recommend enough!!
Highly recommend Ertel. I had a heat pump issue on a December Saturday when it was in the single digits. They were out at my place within hours, got me switched over to the emergency backup. My unit was old so the parts to fix it were no longer available but Steve and his team engineered a temporary fix while my new system was on order. The first and ONLY call you should make for any Plumbing, Mechanical and HVAC needs. Its not so much about the work they have completed at my home- its the attention to detail, honesty, and personal touch that Steve and the RJ Ertel team bring.
