Received a simple blood draw last week and they blew right through my vein. Swelled up the size of a golf ball and have severe bruising. Not necessary at all. Also I’m always told I have the easiest veins to draw. I work in a medical office and get IV’s and blood taken a lot. This has never happened. The man rushed and was careless. Right before my birthday too, can’t even bend my arm without aching pain.
Convenient, little staff interaction since check-in was through a kiosk. While the procedure felt a bit rushed and the technicians weren’t the warmest, they did what they had to do quickly and safely.
Today, Saturday December 2nd ,I went for scheduled blood work early in the morning at the Commack location. The check in process was quick and easy, no wait at all. The tech/phlebotomist Keara was excellent. Very professional, polite, easy to talk with and extremely gentle. Thankfully I have really good veins for drawing blood, but even so, she was so careful and gentle. Highly recommend this location.
