The center was below standard, the facility looked as if it was located in Skid Row in comparison to the other Quest facilities that serve predominantly white neighborhoods. Despite the fact that the downtown location has a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, it seems as if the owners may have a different opinion as it is a neglected office. Very sad. I only gave three stars because of it’s appearance, and cleanliness.
They were very late to service my scheduled appt causing me to be late for work. The amount of people they have crammed into the waiting room (its really a closet) cannot be legal to fire safety codes. Very unprofessional staff members. Seems that this clinic has very little oversight.
The phlebotomists here are the slowest I have ever seen. Not even students take this long to draw blood. Waited for over 90 minutes. If you absolutely have to come to this Quest, make an appointment. But I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It took over 20 minutes for a simple blood draw for each person, but there are 2 appointments every 10 minutes. I believe there were only 2 phlebotomists on staff as 2 decided it was time for lunch with a full waiting room. Worst experience ever. Quest should be ashamed.
Naomi (spelling wrong) is by far the best at drawing blood! I have been fortunate to have had her do my blood draw on several occasions and she is always so gentle with the needle. She was at the San Dimas location and is now at the Quest on 17th St. I was so happy when I seen she would be drawing my blood at my last visit. As usual she did an amazing job, as pain free as possible when inserting the needle. I wish they still had the San Dimas location as it was more convenient for me.
