Great place! Right by a river and close to Yosemite. Romantic and Beautiful. Free wine tasting too.
The worst hotel experience for my wife and I!! We arrived after hours(have to get the key from an outside mailbox) and our room was absolutely FILTHY!!! It had not been cleaned since the previous guest. There was used toilet paper still in the toilet, disgusting used towels everywhere, the bedding not changed, etc. We called their after hours line over 10 times, went straight to voicemail. Steve, Never in the past 13 years as a boutique hotel have we failed on so many levels. Obviously the hotel cleaning staff somehow missed cleaning your room yesterday morning after the previous guest left. The room was signed off as cleaned on their paperwork. Our onsite manager failed to answer the late phone call. There is no excuse for that. I understand your frustration and we, as owners, feel responsible for the failures of our staff. I haven’t stayed in any of the rooms. I have been to the wine bar on nights they have bands come in. The people who own it are really great and I love them. So I know the rooms have to be really great too.
