I had a really uncomfortable experience this past weekend but the staff was incredibly sympathetic, acknowledged my emotions and made me feel supported. This experience was not their fault and I'm giving them 4 starts because I had the best massage and scrub. I really wanted to like this place. The concept of a women-only Korean spa is great, and the front desk was warm and welcoming, taking time to walk me through the process since it was my first visit. Unfortunately, the massage itself was a bad experience. I booked the vitamin massage for 10am. The moment I lay down, I could smell cigarette smoke on my therapist. Be ready to bring your slippers because they don’t provide slippers or can’t even buy some with them. The massage therapist I got was kind, got straight to massaging but rush the whole experience and it was not calming at all. Also, Manager states, “It is mandatory to tip in the US”. It is not mandatory!
Heard about this hidden gem in K-town and had to try it out. I got the Queen Special and it was to die for. Scrub, massage, wrap, facial and hair wash and scalp massage. This package took 2 hours and was everything I needed to feel snatched and rejuvenated. Will be coming back!
Every time I am in Los Angeles, I go to this spa because I love how my skin feels after their massage and all the relaxation in hot sauna and icy pool
