Our tour guide was very informative seeing he worked the mine we loved his personality and he gave us great insight of how the mine worked. Definitely a must see!
Awesome experience, guides were very knowledgeable in the history. Loved it and loved all the different stones.
It was very educational and fun. We had a BLAST!!!! Hee Hee. The best part is Our Tour Guide Sonny was so awesome and he actually retired when the Mine closed in 1975. He even had pictures from when he stared. So he was soooo informative and sweet. Gift shop was awesome too. I wanna go back before I leave to go home to Texas and buy more awesome stuff lol.
It was super fun if you haven't been I suggest you go!! It's a pleasant drive and the people are friendly you may even have a chance to encounter some ghost around town if you are out in the evening.
Good for all ages to experience a mining operation under ground. Good tour guides, and equipment that we all got to wear to make it a good learning tour. Gift shop and displays and visitor center very nice fir travelers..
it was good a time just wish you can more in to the mine but over all it was fun
