Anticipation was well worth the wait! Cheese platter was amazing, the wine list was fantastic and the food was fresh and very flavorful. Definitely going back.
My son and I had lunch at the Quarry we loved cheese platter outstanding. The Bonnie fish and chips with the homemade fries awesome!! The salmon entree was delicious. Can't wait to go back !!
The Quarry is one of those rare Boston restaurants in the suburbs. The ambience combines elements of contemporary chic, rustic charm, with just the right touch of elegance. The servers are on their game, without overpowering you. The wine list is exceptional--even wines by-the-glass are outstanding (and I am a wine snob). The food is beautifully presented and five-star quality. I highly recommend the cheese board--the last time I had one that good was in Paris. A great bar scene as well! I would recommend this to a friend.
My husband and I stopped in tonight to see the new place.....we had been frequent customers of Nino's .....ambience is good....the service was special....food presentation was awful....we had the wild mushroom ravioli and it came looking like a mound of ugly brown goop....couldn't tell what was underneath....no garnish....too bad , because the ravioli was good and the sauce was good......but sometimes we eat with our eyes first.....I always learned that presentation is everything.....so I hope this is constructive criticism.... read more
