Buyer beware! The website coupon was not honored. Good thing I asked in advance. Quoted $68 for a Honda CR-V with coupon rate being about $20 less. Even though coupon says "Most Cars", he said a CR-V is an SUV and not a car so therefore more expensive. Interesting since the CR-V is one of the most common cars in California. It is reasonable to charge more if it is an unusual car (a CR-V is not) or it takes more work or expense to perform the service. That was clearly not the case here. One of the most efficient smog checks I have ever had.
False advertising and no integrity. Called TWICE to confirm online coupon of $37.75 for a smog. Yes my car was in the year and model range to qualify for this, as confirmed by the phone calls. I sent my husband in to get it done for our car, and he was told $68. My husband denied so the price was lowered to $46 CASH. And it was only lowered because he mentioned going elsewhere that offered the service for $50. It’s not so much about the money but integrity which matters a lot especially for a mechanic.
