I've used Dale's services 3 times with different older two stroke Suzuki's motorcycles. His rates are the best on the market, and he knows exactly what he's doing. He's always been happy to chat and answer my questions and help me understand. I readily recommend him to anyone needing machining on their equipment.
Nice guy knows exactly what he's doing. Has done the job while I wait. Has done several of my motocross bikes cylinders and did a great job installing a healicoil in my case. Highly recommend.
Have used Quality outboard on 3 or 4 Mercury outboarrd engines, sleeved and not sleeved over the last 5-6 years. Always willing to help. Will use them again....
I needed my cylinder honed, Dale did it while I waited at a price that I felt was below what anyone charged. However, that's not the reason I'm giving him 5 stars. I also brought my piston in, he measured both piston and cylinder, checked the measurements against my manual and answered all my questions for 15 min. Super nice guy and great customer service! Highly recommend.
Dale, owner/operator here at Outboard Boring, is a FANTASTIC guy.. He's a precision machinist that I bring my old school motorcycle cylinders and pistons, to have him match bore each cylinder to each pistons. My CB1100F & CBX cylinders were done by him. He also decked the cylinder block.. Yeah, Big Bore Pistons in my bike! Thanks again Dale!
