Hubby and I stayed here for 5 nights in July. We had a great stay. Pros: 1. Location is within walking (5 min) distance of Lakeside Beach and you can pay for a $5 beach voucher from the front desk vs paying the normal $30 entrance fee. 2. Free parking. Multiple hotels I researched charge a daily parking fee. Quality Inn does not. 3. Free breakfast. Overall, my stay was okay, but there were a few things that were disappointing. The room looked much smaller than it appeared in the photos. I think the interior design makes the space feel even more cramped than it actually is. I also wasn't a fan of the shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion dispensers. While they look modern, they are extremely difficult to squeeze, so getting enough product out is surprisingly frustrating. My biggest complaint was the ice machine—it wasn't working at all. At first when booking the hotel, i was a bit nervous due to tons of low reviews. However, im so glad i booked it! Management was so kind and accommodating. There were no more parking spots left and an employee went on his golf cart and made us our own little parking spot. The rooms were nice and bathrooms werent as bad as people are making it seem. The staff here are very kind and courteous but I am leaving this review as a warning to those thinking of booking online. I don’t think the photos really are an accurate depiction of the hotel and environment. The staff went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable but the common areas were too filthy, dirty carpets, scuffed hallways, dried gum on the elevator floor, it gave the hotel an eerie feeling.
