We booked two rooms at Quality Inn Moultrie through Expedia for March 19-22, 2026. The hotel initially marked our reservation as a no-show but accepted our check-in the following day, acknowledging us as guests. Upon arrival we found exposed electrical wiring in an open junction box directly outside our room door, mold and water damage on the bathroom ceiling, a severely corroded and unsanitary bathtub drain, and a strong smoke odor in designated non-smoking rooms. Stayed for 2 nights on ground floor. The rooms were cleaned very well. Beds were comfortable and clean. We got full service housekeeping after the first night which I loved. Staff was great, but when my family and I arrived to check in there was no one at the desk. After waiting a few minutes I called out and someone just on the other side of the wall came out so don't think they heard me walk in. The indoor pool looked clean but it is not heated and therefore was too cold to use.
Staff is absolutely amazing at the front desk. Can't get any better. The facility could get better but I gave it five stars because of the staff alone
