Our family has been seeing Dr. Yu for years. He is a very caring and thorough ophthalmologist. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.
I was not allowed to see Dr. Yu because if they found a problem in my eye they could not perform surgery. Apparently if you have the wrong type of "medical" insurance this applies. So sad because I have been going there over 20 years. Instead of seeing Dr. Yu I saw the Optometrist in the office. Every single year they dilate my eyes. This year they decided not to dilate. I have been a patient of Dr. Yu for along time. He and his staff are always professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. I recently had cataract surgery and had the crystalline lens implant. I’m very happy. I love waking up and being able to see without glasses. My intermediate vision is excellent. My reading vision is improving each day (it’s been only 3 days since my last surgery).Still putting in drops so my eye is still dilated. I’m glad I paid the extra cost for the crystalline lens. I am so happy with Dr, Yu and the staff. I didn’t think my cataracts were that bad until I had them removed recently and the improvement is remarkable. I received the Symfony mult-focal lenses and I LOVE them. They are worth the extra cost when I figure my bi-focal glasses with all the bells & whistles were $500.
