Always buy Quaker Oats, but what's up with the 80 year old man that did not submit the contest entry on line! Are you going to donate to his charity as an apology ? Who do you think eats the oats?

It would be nice if they were honest, caramel flavor rice cakes are not 'gluten free' if it lists caramel coloring in the ingredients which is actually gluten.... look it up Quaker.

Everyone should know of the story of mcilhenny Tabasco sauce: A consultant went in and said he can increase their revenue by 30%, so the story goes. McIlhenny, dubious, says - "yeah? How"? The consultant says it'll cost them $5 Million... Well, after they finally agreed to pay the consulting fee, the consultant revealed: Make the opening to their Tobasco sauces 30% larger... It worked - And they all were happy. I now see Quaker Oats has done the same to my granola bars. Only, it's not Tobasco sauce where more is better... It... read more

I used to enjoy having a Quaker granola bar for a snack, and grew up with them as a kid in a lunch box everyday. Now I've been giving them to my kids for school lunches. I decided to have 1 for myself again as a nice snack, upon eating it, I found it contains more rice crisp than granola. I didn't buy a rice crisp bar, I bought a granola bar....... So the packaging says and leads consumers to believe it's a granola bar, not a rice crisp bar with trace of granola. Come on Quaker, what happened to you guys producing a wholesom... read more

I used to love Quaker oats and fed it to my husband and 2 year old little girl every morning. I thought I was doing a good thing. HOWEVER I have since found out that Quaker Oats is being sued for $5million by a man who claims they use a dangerous weed killer during production. Lewis Daly from Brooklyn, New York, has filed a lawsuit against the company, saying their advertising is 'false, deceptive and misleading'. He says the carcinogenic substance, glyphosate, is used to grow the oats and is sprayed on them during harvest. ... read more

Normally, I love Quaker flavored oatmeal and keep packets at work for fast breakfasts or snacks. But I ran out and had to buy a new box. I usually get one of the variety boxes. I picked up standard variety box and when I got to the parking garage I tried to minimize the bulk by taking the packets out of the box. I opened the box to discover oatmeal all over the place. One flavor packets were cut open along the side of the packet by the manufacturing process. Two of the packets were actually open on the side and the oatmeal t... read more

I eat steel cut oats every morning with fresh blueberries for 3 years now. I bought a new tub yesterday from Target since i was out and i made my breakfast as usual. I dont know what Quaker Oats Co.did but they wont soften. I tried to eat them and it was like eating little rocks. I threw the batch away and decided to boil them even longer and try breakfast again. Same thing. Threw the tub out! Im so disappointed in the company.
