Traditional, but compelling Chinese cuisine in a grandiose setting. – The Scene Brace yourself: The interior of Qin Dynasty is seriously elegant. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant – I eat allot of Chinese and this place is the best to me. I usually go for lunch so it is not as expensive (lunch menu) as the dinner menu, just like all Chinese places. I usually get the general Tso chicken that is made with all white meat. The food always comes out in a timely manner and is always hot. The place is nice but I am an eater and don?t really care about looks, but it is a very nice place.
Only non-buffet chinese for the lunch crowd in the area – Quick service during lunch even when there is a crowd. Good lunch specials. Parking can sometimes be a pain.
Great food and quick service! – I usually have this at work and have it delivered. Their delivery service is always fast. They may say 1 hour, but what they really mean is 30 min! The lunch menu is an excellent price for the tasty entrees, a soup, and an appetizer. The regular menu (dinner) is a little pricey but you do get waited on hand and foot when dining in their lavish atmosphere. There hasn't been a menu item that I have been disappointed with. Everyone must try the Kung Pao Chicken!
My favorite Chinese in Houston! – I have been a customer for more than four years and I have never had a problem with service, food, or anything. Very great takeout for a single person, not huge with lots of leftovers. It usually is just enough for 1-2 meals. The combo meals comes with soup and appetizer. Not Impressed – I really don't understand how this place is still open. It was good, but not anymore. The vegatables were overcooked, the hot and sour soup was nothing but mushroooms, the wait staff was rude (the delivery guy is even worse). Not only will I not go here anymore, but, in fact, my whole apartment building has decided to ban this place. Yeah, it looks neat, but there is more to a restaurant than appearences...it's what's inside (the food) that counts.
Must Experience! – On several occasions we have dined in the splendor that is Qin Dynasty. The staff was attentive but not over-bearing. Although they were limited in the seafood items, the menu offered a variety of dishes to please most diners. The restaurant is adorned with pieces of art creating a warm, peaceful atmosphere.
New favorite lunch and Chinese place – I just had an awesome lunch there and look forward to returning for a romantic dinner. The food, service, and especially the decor were all top-notch. Two lunch specials (soup + eggroll or crab puff + rice + large portioned entrees - the kung pao chicken and the shrimp and chicken with cashews) and 2 teas plus a good tip came out to only $20. Excellent Chinese food – This is a great Chinese restaurant. The decor is fabulous, the food is authentic and the service is excellent. The ambience is very nice and quiet. I would highly recommend it over P.F. Chang's or anyplace like that any day.
