I just had my wisdom teeth taken out at Q Dental and it was way better than I expected. I was nervous when I found out I had a curved root but the team handled it easily. I really appreciated how organized they were. They had all my prescriptions ready to go and explained everything clearly. My recovery has been smooth so far with no complications at all and they have reached out to follow up so any questions I had were answered. Dr Qiu and her assistant Ada were very professional and diligent.
I’m a student and honestly had no clue how my dental insurance worked or what was actually covered. The front desk team was so patient and they actually sat down and walked me through my benefits to make sure I wasn't paying more than I had to, which I really appreciated. Also I get pretty bad dental anxiety, but Dr. Q and the staff were great at keeping me calm. I had good experiences with the dentists before. However, my most recent experience with the new dental hygienist was horrible. His incompetence makes me feel like I should go ahead make a formal complaint to BCCOHP. I don't understand how did he even get the license to practice. Not a single job was done right.
Dr Gu is. an excellent dentist. He is very professional , careful and gentle. I had a great experience over there , and would highly recommend Dr Gu and his super friendly assistant/front desk staff.
