Don't try on hats and attempt to take a picture, they'll yell at you instead of asking you in a polite way. They were very rude to me and my friend who had never been to Portsmouth. I was just showing her around and trying to have a nice afternoon.
Business response:
In 13 years of business, we have never had to "yell" at anyone. To protect our artists designs we do ask no photos are taken. We also have a sign posted stating that. We generally tell folks that we hate to disappoint them, but photos are not allowed. We are sorry you didn't have a good experience in our shop.
Just try and be nice to your patrons. Don't yell at people when they try hats on and attempt to take a picture for fun.
Such a wonderful shop. I have purchased several hats over the past three years. They make me feel incredibly glamorous. A throwback to a time when people put their best face forward when leaving the house.

I went into the store yesterday on my way up to Sugarloaf in Maine... my band was playing a show. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by not only the incredibly unique and beautiful selection of hats, but also by the amazing hospitality and attention I received. �
What a great store!! Alexis was great! and soooo many hats I couldn't choose!
This shop is as amazing as the people who work there. The selections cannot be matched. My sisters and I have so much fun and are never disappointed in our choices.
