I was previously a client of Putnam Animal Wellness for my Goldendoodle when he was a puppy. I brought him in recently for a routine wellness exam and vaccinations, but quickly noticed that pet parents are not permitted to remain in the exam room. This increased my dog's stress level, but no one seemed to care. While I understand that policy originated during COVID, continuing it now hinders clear communication and the ability to make informed decisions. Great care, friendly staff. Making an appointment was very easy, we were seen on time. I felt my cat was in good, caring hands. Clinic located in a pet store which i found to be well stocked and run by a caring, knowledgable crew.

I called PAW for a price to neuter my new dog. All prices over the phone seemed reasonable and cheaper than most vets and I was happy. After getting there, I got a price much higher than they quoted on the phone. They put everything they can into the estimate, which I had to have them remove ( nail trim, microchip, a blood/fecal test) this was $100 more! Then to find out I couldn’t even go in with my dog!
