Good Food/Good price If your looking for some good mood lighting and tasty food and a good selection of wines, this is the place to go. My only complain, the weight of the chairs. Wow, what were they thinking. Their chop salad is great.
Lunch time recommend A group of us had lunch there. Not too crowded; service was prompt. Everyone's meal was very good. And the selection of wine was excellent. Great to have a high quality place to go like this in the neighborhood.
Recommend for a Saturday Lunch Love the atmosphere. When you go try one of the wine flights, it is a great way to sample wines from different regions. Also make sure you get the homemade sea salt caramels.

If you want to hangout in a place with relaxing ambience and sophisticated food, then Purple is your choice for Cafe’! Yes, it’s a bit pricey. Prepare to drop 20% gratuity here, but overall well worth it.

The food has been very good every time I've been. It's been a couple years though and I didn't recall there ever being an automatic 20% gratuity for a party of 2. Our server was attentive so it wasn't a big deal, but I do think customers should be able to tip at their discretion. Be prepared to drop some money here. We dined at 4pm and shared an appetizer of two tiny crabcakes ($19), we each had risotto ($19) plus and extra $9 for four prawns on my husband's risotto and sparkling water ($6 each). Amazing! Bryan was so great! He treated our bride to be so well! We loved that they added the 20% tip! Was well deserved! Highly recommend for a start to bachelorette parties and any occasion.
